ECOPEACE MIDDLE EAST 'S FUNDRAISER:

WATER CANNOT WAIT

Palestinians lack an equitable supply of water and sanitation services, while Israelis face contamination of shared water sources by untreated wastewater. This reality is a threat to human and environmental health and we cannot wait any longer.

Solving the region’s water problems cannot wait for a final peace agreement; we need to take action to address water inequality today.

To raise awareness amongst decision makers and the public on the urgency of regional water and environment issues, EcoPeace Middle East launched its “Water Cannot Wait” campaign, calling on political leaders to reach a final water agreement.

We need your help to make this vision a reality!

We have a goal to raise $50,000 for our Water Cannot Wait campaign through the Skoll Foundation Social Entrepreneurship Challenge, where we are competing for up to $3.25 million in prizes and matching funds. The more we raise, the greater our chances at having our donations matched. So, your fundraising efforts could be doubled—or even tripled!

Please help us reach our $50,000 goal by making a minimum $10 donation by November 18th! 

Restarting negotiations on water and sanitation independently of a final peace agreement makes economic, ecological, and, most importantly, political sense. A final Water Accord would increase the amount of fresh water available and significantly reduce the amount of pollution flowing into the rivers and streams that run throughout the region.
