Study Launched To Save the Dead Sea
The World Bank study was launched with the governmental cooperation of Israel, Jordan, and the Palestinian Authority. This study is expected to take two years and analyze the feasibility of transferring water from the Red Sea to the Dead Sea, where sea level is falling approximately one meter per year.

This analysis of potential conduits assesses all of the proposed pathways but specifically focuses on the Red-Dead Conduit. Produced by American University, this report attempts to measure some of the potential costs and benefits of the project. It serves as a solid foundation in understanding the problem and combines an economic perspective in solving the Dead Sea level problem.
