Friends of the Earth Middle East conducted a one year research study to assess some of the environmental impacts of the Euro-Med Free Trade Zone on the environment.
Based on the case studies examined in the areas of Sustainable Strategy, Energy, Industry, Agriculture and Water, FoEME issued important recommendations to ensure that sustainability measures are taken into consideration while implementing the MFTZ.
